Robin Dawn Powell McWhorter

Robin Dawn Powell McWhorter, age 63, of Archer City, Texas, passed away Friday, June 21, 2024 in Wichita Falls.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 27, at Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City with Roger Deerinwater officiating. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City.

Robin was born March 1, 1961 in Centreville, Illinois to the late Robert Wirth, Sr. and Glenda Jeanette Wheatley.

She and David Lee McWhorter were married Nov. 3, 1986 in Phoenix, Arizona. They moved to Archer City in 2001 where they made their home.

Robin was a seamstress throughout her life. She loved sewing and made countless prom dresses and Halloween costumes for her children and many others. Robin was a barrel racer in her younger days. She enjoyed playing guitar, dancing and gardening. Robin had a special place in her heart for her pets, as she was always a very caring person. Most of all, she was a fun and outgoing person who loved her family dearly.

Survivors include her husband, David McWhorter of Archer City; three children, Cyrena Estrada and husband, Michael of Wichita Falls, Jeremy Moss, Sr. and wife, Melissa of Stanton, Nebraska and Tamara Pendley and J.J. Drullinger of Wichita Falls; three brothers, Lee Wirth and wife, Audrey of Missouri, Robert Wirth, Jr. of Las Cruces, New Mexico and Bill Wirth of Las Vegas, Nevada; three sisters, Pat Harrison of Augusta, Georgia, Letty Abernathy of Indiana and Jolenda Tusler and husband, John of Australia; and four grandchildren, Grace, Jeremy, Jr., Mason and Gabriel.

The family suggests memorials to the Bowman Cemetery Association, 2924 Kyle Cove, Wichita Falls, Texas 76308.
